Neil Puzon

Professional violinist, Neil Puzon resides in Waldorf, MD and has been teaching for over 20 years. Lessons take place in his home studio. Mr. Puzon teaches strings which includes violin, viola, and cello. He also teaches piano lessons. Mr. Puzon is a member of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA).

His students have played in Charles County All County Orchestra and Tri County Orchestra and also Maryland Senior All State Orchestra. He prepares his students for the ASTA Certificate Program. His students have also successfully auditioned for Music Conservatories and Music schools. His students have all gained superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble festivals at both the district and state levels.

Neil Puzon studied violin at Wilmington Academy of Music in Wilmington, NC with Nancy McAllister and with violinist, Teri Lazar of American University. He studied violin with Joseph Esmilla at University of Maryland and chamber music with Evelyn Elsing. He has performed with various symphonies at Kennedy Center, Howard University, George Mason University and George Washington University.
